Your retreat experience includes:

Real-World Postnatal Care Experience: Learn alongside experienced midwives and traditional practitioners in a fully functioning Malaysian postnatal confinement center, with optional, supervised opportunities to participate in the care of new mothers.

Traditional Postnatal Healing: Hands-on training in practices, including herbal baths, body scrubs, traditional firming pastes, yoni steaming, feminine herbal washes, restorative herbal teas, postnatal bodywork, and Bengkung abdominal wrapping.

Postnatal Nutrition: Hands-on preparation of traditional Malaysian recovery meals and an understanding of their role in maternal wellbeing.

Newborn Wellness: Traditional baby massage, bathing, wrapping, and approaches to infant comfort and care.

Herbal Traditions: Immersive herbal experiences, including a guided walk exploring medicinal plants and their traditional applications in postnatal recovery.
Your all-inclusive retreat includes seven days of immersive training, six nights of accommodation at a hotel connected to The Nesting Place, daily meals, round-trip airport transfers from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), an Eco-Postnatal Care Set, and a traditional Bengkung abdominal wrap.

Professional Training Certificate
Participants who successfully complete the seven-day immersive training retreat will receive a Certificate of Completion in Traditional Malaysian Postnatal Care Practices, jointly issued by Eco-Postnatal Care and The Nesting Place, Kuala Lumpur.
We are also working toward academic affiliation and accreditation through a Malaysian college.
